wacocrimatty, take your time. If you have to voice an objection or an inadmissable here and there we'll still be here. I will be waiting with bated breath to see what gems you offer us this month.

Calling all cars! I am looking for this: Dwight Twilley – On Fire! The Best of 1975- 1984. Not wanting to spend 35.00 + shipping on Discogs. So, if someone has that laying around, how's about posting it up here, in at least 320, but preferably a low .flac? If I have to, I will dish it out. But you know, SOMEONE HAS THIS DISK OUT THERE.... Thank you for your attention to this matter.
I don't OWN it, but I found it online and hope that you and Twilley won't mind. If I bought every record that I wish I had, my wife would kick me out and set my collection on fire. I really would like to hear more of The Fags, and I wanna hear what the Dancing Hoods sound like. So please if you have things to offer I would be happy to give them a spin.
Quick intro to Dancing Hoods: "Pleasure" is the song I fell in love with when I saw the video on MTV back in 1985. Mark Linkous started Sparklehorse a few years after Dancing Hoods fell apart. He's playing a Rickenbacker in the "Pleasure" video:
This is really embarrassing, but I just looked on my computer and discovered that I already HAVE the album I requested (I'm With Her)! I sincerely apologize for asking you to search for it.
Here's the album The Fags released in 2006 (Light Em Up) plus the songs from their 2002 EP that didn't make the album.
If the singer from The Outfield became the frontman for The Replacements, the result would sound something like The Fags (a great band that chose a truly, truly unfortunate name).
Various artists: I Wanna Be a Teen Again--North American Power Pop of the '80s A very nice three disk comp...the sound quality is ok, not great. But a fine collection.
